Baseball Game Preview: DSST: Montview Knights vs. Kennedy Commanders

The DSST: Montview Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Kennedy Commanders at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Kennedy will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: DSST: Montview extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over Denver West. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by ten runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kennedy). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 15-14 victory over Manual on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Commanders sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

DSST: Montview's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Kennedy, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

DSST: Montview might still be hurting after the 10-3 loss they got from Kennedy in their previous matchup last Tuesday. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
