Volleyball Recap: Big Walnut Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westerville North, Big Walnut was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Reynoldsburg Raiders by a score of 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: Reynoldsburg scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 22-25, 25-22, 25-18.

Judah Stewart paced Big Walnut's offense, picking up 11 kills. Stewart got some help from Bryce Lawhun and his 24 assists. Lawhun was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Big Walnut's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Reynoldsburg, they moved to 4-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Big Walnut didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Hayes on the 15th. As for Reynoldsburg, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Lincoln on the 15th.
