Volleyball Recap: Plano East Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

Plano East had won two straight home games and Dakota Huynh did her part to make it three on Friday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rock Hill Blue Hawks with plenty of help from Huynh, who had ten digs and five assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played.

Plano East's got stronger as the match went on, holding Rock Hill to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-17, 25-10.

When it comes to explaining why Rock Hill lost, don't look at Emma Alexander. Despite the final result, she had 19 digs.

Plano East's win bumped their record up to 26-10. As for Rock Hill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-24 record this season.

Coincidentally, Plano East and Rock Hill will both be playing Plano the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Blue Hawks will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
