Volleyball Recap: Battle Takes a Loss

Battle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Fort Zumwalt East Lions, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-10, 25-16.

Leading Fort Zumwalt East to victory were Lucian Bourgeois and Logan Van Camp. Bourgeois had 18 digs and two assists, while Van Camp had six digs and two aces.

Battle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-1. As for Fort Zumwalt East, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Battle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against North Kansas City on the 31st. As for Fort Zumwalt East, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Howell North on the 29th.
