Baseball Game Preview: West Bladen Knights vs. South Columbus Stallions

The West Bladen Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the South Columbus Stallions at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. West Bladen will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

West Bladen's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against East Bladen by a score of 5-0.

Not much got past Brady Durden, who gave up just a hit and racked up six Ks to keep East Bladen off the board. That's the fewest hits Durden has allowed since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, Garrett Dunham was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Columbus). They were the clear victor by a 19-2 margin over East Bladen on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Stallions.

West Bladen's record now sits at 4-0. As for South Columbus, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

West Bladen suffered a grim 10-3 defeat to South Columbus in their previous matchup back in March of 2024. Can West Bladen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
