Basketball Recap: Clearview Comes Up Short

Clearview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 79-52 loss at the hands of the Oberlin The Phoenix . The Clippers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the The Phoenix earlier this season, when they won 50-44.

Clearview's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Oberlin, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-14 record.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Columbia the next time they take the court. Clearview will head out to face Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Oberlin will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
