Manvel extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Cam Renfro. The Mavericks came out on top against the Dobie Longhorns by a score of 31-18 on Friday with plenty of help from Renfro, who rushed for 82 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 108 yards and one TD. His passing game has become a key predictor of Manvel's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise.

Manvel's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Dobie, they moved to 5-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Manvel wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 70-35 victory against Fort Bend Hightower on the 14th. Dobie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
