Soccer Recap: Make It Eight in a Row for Richland

Richland had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 goals) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They never let the Fayetteville Tigers get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. Considering Richland have won ten contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Richland's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those four games. As for Fayetteville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Looking ahead, Richland will be playing in front of their home fans against Loretto at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fayetteville, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Cascade on the 1st.
