On Friday, Hope Christian faced Cibola in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Hope Christian Huskies took an 82-64 bruising from the Cibola Cougars. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (56), the Huskies still had to take the loss.

Hope Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
