Basketball Game Preview: North Pole Patriots vs. South Anchorage Wolverines

The North Pole Patriots will be taking part in a tournament against the South Anchorage Wolverines at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Pole is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

North Pole came up short against West Valley on Tuesday, falling 80-59.

Meanwhile, South Anchorage ended up a good deal behind Bettye Davis East Anchorage on Tuesday and lost 51-35. The match marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

North Pole's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for South Anchorage, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

North Pole was taken down by South Anchorage 61-15 in their previous meeting back in December of 2018. Can North Pole avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
