Basketball Recap: Valley Head Takes a Loss

Valley Head was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a blow against the Sylvania Rams, falling 84-20. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-18 back in November of 2024.

Valley Head's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Sylvania, they moved to 11-13 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Valley Head didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-30 loss against Oakwood Academy on the 27th. Sylvania has also already played their next contest, a 60-58 victory against North Jackson on the 27th.
