Baseball Recap: Kenosha Christian Life Comes Up Short

If Kenosha Christian Life was riding high fresh off their 16-8 takedown of Racine Saint Catherine?s/Racine Lutheran on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Central Wisconsin Christian Crusaders on Monday, falling 14-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 16-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Jacob Plapp made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Kenosha Christian Life's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 4-5 when he doesn't). Austin Becker also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Kenosha Christian Life's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Central Wisconsin Christian, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.
