Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kyann Senior and Leah Dewitt Lead Marietta to Victory

Marietta won the last time they faced East Paulding and things went their way on Saturday too. The Marietta Blue Devils walked away with a 59-48 win over the East Paulding Raiders.

Marietta was led to victory by Leah DeWitt and Kyann Senior. DeWitt went 12 of 22 on her way to 26 points and eight rebounds, while Senior dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which DeWitt has scored at least a third of Marietta's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Janiah Scott, who posted seven points and three steals.

Marietta smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 12 consecutive games.
