Baseball Recap: Red Bank Comes Up Short

Red Bank was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 17-1 to the Signal Mountain Eagles. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Red Bank saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anyer Alvarez, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Red Bank now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Signal Mountain, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

While Red Bank had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
