Volleyball Recap: Jackson Homeschool Wins Going Away Against St. Aloysius

Jackson HomeSchool's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They put the hurt on the St. Aloysius Flashes with a sharp 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Jackson HomeSchool was: they took every set by at least 16 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-8, 25-9.

Lucy Robinson paced Jackson HomeSchool's offense, picking up six kills. Robinson got some help from Anna Soloveichik and her 12 assists. Robinson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Willow Hertel, racking up seven apiece.

The victory got Jackson HomeSchool back to even at 1-1. As for St. Aloysius, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Jackson HomeSchool will challenge New Life Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Aloysius will be paying especially close attention to the Victors' contest: after the Victors face off against Clinton Christian Academy, they'll take on St. Aloysius again at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
