Southern Lee lost to Westover back in February of 2021, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Cavaliers snuck past the Wolverines with a 70-66 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cavaliers.

Several Wolverines players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Demarious Hall, who shot 50% from the field en route to 18 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Josh Meekins, who posted 14 points and five boards.

Southern Lee's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Westover, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Southern Lee will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Jordan-Matthews at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Westover, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-56 victory against Pine Forest on the 21st.
