Soccer Recap: Edgewater Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Harmony

There's no place like home for Edgewater, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Harmony Longhorns on Monday, sneaking past 1-0. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 4-0 victory the Longhorns walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.

Edgewater's one-goal win came courtesy of Cooper Boris, which was the first he's scored this season.

The win got Edgewater back to even at 7-7-2. As for Harmony, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edgewater will take on Olympia in a tournament on Wednesday. Olympia is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.6 goals per game this season. As for Harmony, they will host Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
