Campbell Snodgrass and Allie Kaup secure win for West Point-Beemer

Recap: West Point-Beemer Cadets vs. Fort Calhoun Pioneers

The West Point-Beemer Cadets scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Fort Calhoun by a score of 63-54. The victory was just what West Point-Beemer needed coming off of a 57-25 loss in their prior matchup.

West Point-Beemer was led to victory by Campbell Snodgrass and Allie Kaup. Snodgrass scored 20 points, while Kaup dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Hunke, who scored nine points along with 13 rebounds.

West Point-Beemer pushed their record up to 5-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Fort Calhoun, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

West Point-Beemer will head out on the road to face off against Lyons-Decatur Northeast on Saturday. As for Fort Calhoun, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Logan View/Scribner-Snyder on Thursday. Logan View/Scribner-Snyder will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 206th, while Fort Calhoun is ranked 81st).
