It's playoff time, and Marcus had no trouble coming through when it counted. They didn't even let the Dallas Jesuit Rangers on the board on Thursday, marking the Marauders' second-straight 5-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Marauders: when they faced off against the Rangers on Thursday, they had to take a 7-4 defeat.

Marcus is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Dallas Jesuit, their loss dropped their record down to 22-8-1.

Coming up, Marcus will face off against Byron Nelson on the 17th. The Bobcat's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so the Marauders' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Dallas Jesuit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
