Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kamiakin). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Pasco Bulldogs a 22-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Braves have won ten contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Kamiakin's third in a row) raised their record to 15-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Pasco, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the defeat, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Kamiakin will face off against rival Richland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Braves 2.4, the Bombers 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Pasco is set to square off against their familiar foe Hermiston at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
