Muleshoe has gone 7-1 against Roosevelt recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mules will welcome the Eagles at 11:00 a.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Muleshoe turned things around against Friona on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Chieftans by a score of 8-5.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Roosevelt, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They skirted past Idalou 6-4.

The team relied heavily on Ryan Bradshaw, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Roosevelt is 6-1 when Bradshaw posts two or more stolen bases, but 5-8-1 otherwise. Michael Pena was another key player, earning one run and three stolen bases.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Roosevelt kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 11-9-1. As for Muleshoe, their win bumped their record up to 8-9.

Muleshoe came out on top in a nail-biter against Roosevelt in their previous matchup back in March, sneaking past 5-3. Will the Mules repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
