It was fun while it lasted, but Mapleton's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Saturday. They fell to the Edison Chargers 73-68. The loss was the Mounties' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mapleton fell to 5-1. As for Edison, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mapleton and Plymouth will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edison, they will be home for the holidays to greet Gibsonburg at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
