Volleyball Recap: Overton Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Overton entered their tilt with Central Valley on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cougars. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2024.

Daisy Ryan paced Overton's offense, picking up nine kills. Ryan got some help from Kyla Elfgren and her 13 assists. Ryan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Overton's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Central Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.

Overton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Ravenna on the 2nd. Central Valley has also already played their next matchup (against Fullerton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
