Volleyball Recap: Moorefield Comes Up Short on the Road Against Keyser

Moorefield kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to the Keyser Golden Tornado. The Yellow Jackets haven't had much luck with the Golden Tornado recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20.

Keyser was led to victory by Brooklyn Lesher and Jillian Ault. Lesher had nine aces, while Ault had seven kills and six blocks.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moorefield will challenge Hampshire at 7:05 p.m. on Thursday. As for Keyser, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Preston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
