Volleyball Recap: Whiteland Takes a Loss

Whiteland suffered their biggest loss since September 16th on Thursday. They came up short against the Center Grove Trojans, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Whiteland's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Center Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Whiteland and Avon will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Center Grove, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Franklin Community on the 2nd.
