Volleyball Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial lost against Johns Creek back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gladiators. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Centennial saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Franki Lo had ten digs and two aces. Lo has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Johns Creek, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Centennial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Kell on the 11th. As for Johns Creek, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Alpharetta on the 6th.
