White Plains took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They strolled past the Weaver Bearcats with points to spare, taking the game 72-54. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 60-46 victory the Bearcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

White Plains got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bryson Cheatwood out in front who went 8-for-16 on his way to 21 points. Will Graham was another key player, shooting 43% from the field to rack up 15 points and six rebounds.

Weaver's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

White Plains didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 64-24 victory against Saks on the 18th. As for Weaver, they will take on Donoho at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
