Volleyball Recap: Foothill Extends Winning Streak to Four

Foothill had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came out on top against the Moapa Valley Pirates by a score of 2-0. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Despite the defeat, Moapa Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Phoebe Leavitt had four digs and three aces.

Foothill's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Moapa Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Coincidentally, Foothill and Moapa Valley will both be playing Southeast Career Tech the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Roadrunners at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
