Leo took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They blew past the Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Knights 14-4. That's more bragging rights for Leo, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Lillian Pierce was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3. Madyn Mohr was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
Leo will head out on the road to challenge Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Luers, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Heritage at 5:30 p.m. on April 10th.
