Volleyball Recap: Potosi Comes Up Short

Potosi lost against Fennimore back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Chieftains took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Eagles.

Potosi's offense was headlined by Lillian Cooley and Alayna Kerkhoff, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Emily Schaefer and her ten assists. Finally, Manhattyn Udelhofen kept Potosi's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Potosi's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Fennimore, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Potosi wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against River Ridge on the 13th. As for Fennimore, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Lancaster on the 13th.
