Ty Oakley of Flagler ran for the longest rushing play in A-6 Southeast (6 Man) this season against Cheraw last week.
Liberty/Stratton extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Idalia, 74-30. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Eagles.
Dylan Dixon was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 229 yards on 17 carries as Eads topped the Wolves. Blaine Winder also contributed to the rushing game with 135 yards on the ground.
Dixon was a beast in the backfield as the Eagles defeated Kit Carson.
Dixon provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Eads topped the Wildcats. Dixon's key target this week was Caden Parker, who caught 2 passes for 34 yards.
Trenton Mitchek made the biggest impact on defense this week as Dustin Uhland's team defeated Kit Carson. He forced 2 fumbles.
Griffin was the best receiver in A-6 Southeast (6 Man) this week as Toby Kechter's team beat Idalia. Griffin tallied 4 receptions for 101 yards.
Nathan Witt threw for 232 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was 12-15 with 1 interception.
Witt put up the best numbers through the air as the Panthers bested the Wolverines. Witt's favorite target this week was Tristen Cesko, who caught 3 passes for 82 yards.
Deer Trail's David Mettee and Dalton Eldringhoff have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Mettee has thrown for 460 yards this season, while Eldringhoff, a 5-foot-8 receiver, has 16 catches for 214 yards. The Eagles' Kyle English leads the league in rushing yards with 405.
One of the league's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when the Eagles and the Eagles face off next week.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Liberty/Stratton takes on Cheraw. The Eagles are currently in first, while Brad Phillips' team is in sixth.
Liberty/Stratton took down Perry Allen's team 74-30 last week, the largest margin of any game. Trevor Thompson threw for 174 yards and 4 touchdowns and ran for 49 yards during the win.
