Football Recap: Gholson Comes Up Short

Gholson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 73-68 heartbreaker at the hands of the Trinidad Trojans. Gholson was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Trinidad apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Gholson's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Trinidad, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gholson will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Oglesby at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinidad, they will take on Penelope at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
