Basketball Recap: Geffen Academy Comes Up Short

Geffen Academy entered their game against Rolling Hills Prep on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Geffen Academy Bruins were dealt a 105-47 defeat at the hands of the Rolling Hills Prep Huskies. If the Bruins were looking for revenge after losing 81-39 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Geffen Academy still got an impressive performance from Nathan M, who almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds. The matchup was M's third in a row with at least ten points.

Geffen Academy's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-6. As for Rolling Hills Prep, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-6.

As of now, neither Geffen Academy nor Rolling Hills Prep have any future games scheduled.
