Softball Game Preview: Jackson Ironman/Ironladies vs. Miami Trace Panthers

For the second straight game, Jackson will face off against Miami Trace. Jackson will take on Miami Trace at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jackson will come into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

Jackson is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by an 11-4 margin over Miami Trace on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Serenity Taylor looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Izzy Swisher was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She also launched a home run, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Maddie Wright, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4.

Jackson's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Miami Trace, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
