Baseball Recap: Carson Takes a Loss

Carson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Reno Huskies, falling 10-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-6 back in March.

Carson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas LaFollette, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-21. As for Reno, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Carson will head out on the road to take on Damonte Ranch at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Senators' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Reno, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against North Valleys at 11:00 a.m.
