Amelia Academy dropped their record down to 1-12 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Southampton Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.
Amelia Academy took a serious blow against Southampton Academy in their previous meeting last Wednesday, falling 63-36. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Southampton Academy's G Applewhite, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds.
