Basketball Recap: Rhinebeck Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Rhinebeck can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 70-57 to the Spackenkill Spartans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Hawks' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Rhinebeck now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Spackenkill, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-10.

Rhinebeck does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spackenkill, they will square off against Marlboro Central at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Spackenkill knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Marlboro Central likes a good challenge.
