Soccer Game Preview: Hamilton vs. Haleyville

Hamilton is 1-8 against Haleyville since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. Hamilton will be playing at home against Haleyville at 3:00 p.m. Hamilton has given up an average of 8.7 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hamilton is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their ninth straight game two weeks ago. They lost 15-0 to Mars Hill Bible. While losing is never fun, Hamilton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 207th, while Mars Hill Bible are ranked 51st).

Meanwhile, Haleyville entered their game against Fairview two weeks ago without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Haleyville fell just short of Fairview by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Haleyville couldn't push the score so high this time.

Haleyville's loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for Hamilton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
