Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Friday. Dadeville were just a hair shy of victory and fell 35-34 to Randolph County. The defeat continues a trend for Dadeville in their meetings with Randolph County: they've now lost three in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Dadeville lost, don't look at Davis McKelvey. Despite the final result, he threw for 232 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 104 yards and one score on only six carries. Rhett Huddleston was another key player, throwing for 164 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight passes.

Dadeville's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Randolph County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.
