Baseball Game Preview: Waupaca Comets vs. Oconto Falls Panthers

The Waupaca Comets will head out to challenge the Oconto Falls Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Waupaca has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 12.

On Saturday, Waupaca didn't have quite enough to beat Marinette and fell 4-3.

Max Dolski was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.

Oconto Falls came out on top against Fox Valley Lutheran on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Panthers walked away with a 5-2 win over the Foxes. While the Panthers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Waupaca's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Oconto Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
