Basketball Recap: Watertown Gets the Win

Watertown hadn't done well against Pierre T.F. Riggs recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Watertown Arrows snuck past the Pierre T.F. Riggs Governors with a 41-36 win. For the Arrows, this counts as revenge for the 57-33 victory the Governors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

Watertown now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pierre T.F. Riggs, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Watertown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-31 defeat against Mitchell on the 17th. As for Pierre T.F. Riggs, they will be home for the holidays to greet Sturgis Brown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
