Baseball Recap: Nixon Takes a Loss

Nixon lost against Roma back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Nixon Mustangs fell 7-4 to the Roma Gladiators.

Nixon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Gaona, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Sammy Palacios also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Nixon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Roma, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

While Nixon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
