Softball Recap: Middletown Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fort Bragg on Tuesday, Middletown came back down to earth. The Mustangs lost 13-4 to the Kelseyville Knights on Thursday. The Mustangs have struggled against the Knights recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Kelseyville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-6.

Middletown didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-7 defeat against Upper Lake on the 15th. As for Kelseyville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 5-3 victory against Clear Lake on the 11th.
