Volleyball Game Preview: Troy Flying Horses vs. Voorheesville Blackbirds

The Troy Flying Horses will venture away from home to square off against the Voorheesville Blackbirds at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Troy is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

On Thursday, Troy got the win against Albany Academy by a conclusive 3-0.

One reason for the win was Troy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Voorheesville didn't have quite enough to beat Mohonasen on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Troy's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Voorheesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Troy came up short against Voorheesville in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Flying Horses avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
