Baseball Recap: Scranton Prep Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Scranton Prep can now relate to. They fell 4-1 to the Mid Valley Spartans on Friday. The game marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Scranton Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was AJ Croom, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Scranton Prep's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Mid Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Scranton Prep nor Mid Valley have any future games scheduled.
