Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Stockbridge's 13th in Last 15 Outings

Stockbridge had won six straight home games and Kahli Ingram did her part to make it seven on Friday. The Stockbridge Tigers took down the McDonough Warhawks 58-44 thanks in part to Ingram, who posted 13 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played.

Another player making a difference was Jayla Fulks, who scored ten points and three steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in November of 2024.

McDonough lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jadah Rembert, who put up 17 points. That was a full 38.6% of McDonough's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's had more than a third of the team's points. Amiyah Dedrick was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Stockbridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. As for McDonough, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Stockbridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-43 victory against Ola on the 3rd. McDonough has also already played their next matchup, a 74-26 loss against Jones County on the 1st.
