Baseball Recap: Haven Extends Winning Streak to Four

Haven came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Nickerson Panthers with a sharp 11-1 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won 12 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Haven's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Nickerson, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haven will welcome Trinity Academy on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 3.8, the Knights 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Nickerson, they will square off against Kingman on Monday.
