Volleyball Recap: Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves vs. Sebeka Trojans
Walker-Hackensack-Akeley kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Sebeka Trojans, falling 3-0. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
While Walker-Hackensack-Akeley was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-22.
Sebeka can attribute much of their success to Emma Ness, who had 12 digs. Those 12 digs gave Ness a new career-high.
Looking ahead, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley will venture away from home to take on Hill City at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sebeka, they will welcome Browerville at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
