Hickman entered their tilt with Lindbergh on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Lindbergh Flyers by a score of 53-42. The 53-point effort marked the Kewpies' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Hickman's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Lindbergh, they moved to 4-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Hickman won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Westminster Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Westminster Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Hickman likes a good challenge. As for Lindbergh, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eureka at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
