Soccer Recap: North Bend Comes Up Short + How To Watch

North Bend was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marshfield Pirates. North Bend fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Marshfield since Monday.

North Bend's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Marshfield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Bend will host Junction City at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Bend will be up against Junction City's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.91 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Marshfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cottage Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
